Energy affects every aspect of our lives from how we travel to comfort in our homes to the cost of the goods we buy. With supplies of oil being depleted, demand rising, and prices up, our heavy dependence on oil puts us at risk.
Don's presentation addresses critical issues such as: (1) Can We Be Energy Independent? (2) Small Changes that Could Save Hundreds in Energy Bills (3) Paper or Plastic: Which is More Environmentally Friendly? (4) The Facts about Alternative Energy (5) Are We Being Gouged at the Pump?
Can we make a difference? The answer is a resounding yes. There are realistic and practical ways to act more sustainably as individuals and as a community.
This forum is co-sponsored by the City of Woodbury. Join your neighbors at the Woodbury Central Park for a dialogue with WCCO’s Don Shelby to learn, engage, and take action.
